A Hosted Warehouse of the Public USDA Record

Berean is building a database of public inspection reports, citation numbers, Animal Care materials, and OIG audits and investigations. Search and pattern matching run against that warehouse so an evidence packet can be assembled from held sources—not from a blank agency hunt each time.

Hosted Record Warehouse

Public inspection reports, citation numbers, Animal Care materials, and USDA OIG audits and investigations are brought into a database Berean hosts and maintains. The warehouse is the working store—not a one-off download and not a live scrape of an agency portal for every question.

Search Over What Is Held

Queries run against that warehouse: citation number, inspection identifier, facility type, species, date range, or related OIG report. Results stay attached to the original file so a hit can be opened, not just summarized.

Pattern Matching

The same citation language, inspection findings, and OIG themes can be compared across similar operations, regions, inspectors, or time periods. A match is a pattern in the held record—not a finding of liability—and the comparison used to draw it is stated.

Evidence Packets

The working product is a packet a business or advisor can review: warehouse sources used, excerpts, citation numbers, observed patterns, method notes, and limits. It is designed to cut search time, not to replace counsel.

Provenance Preservation

Each item records where it originated, when it was obtained, and how it entered the warehouse so later review can reconstruct the trail.

Human-Reviewed Analysis

Search, matching, and drafting assistance may use software. Important claims remain tied to the documents in the warehouse and subject to human review.

A product under development

The public USDA record is usable, but it is scattered: inspection portals, citation language inside PDFs, and OIG reports published as separate files. The first job of the platform is to hold that material in one warehouse. The second is to search it and match patterns across it. The third is to package what was used so someone else can open the same files.

Software may retrieve, index, and match. It does not invent the finding. A packet remains a research work product—linked to documents in the held warehouse—so a business and its counsel can examine the same sources Berean examined.
